Description : IFN-?1 (also called IFN-?) is a lymphoid factor with potent antiviral antiproliferative and immunomodulatory properties. Human IFN-?1 is a 19.3 kDa protein containing 166 amino acid residues. The IFN-?1 proteins are produced by leukocytes. These genes found on chromosome 9 are stayed together in a cluster. IFN-?1 is also made synthetically as medication.
