Description : D149 Dye can highly efficient dye sensitized solar cells in organic way. D149 showed remarkably promising properties when used with less volatile ionic liquids and solid state electrolytes. More specifically, the changes in the spectrum of D149 interacting with the semiconductor surface due to local electric field were observed by spectro-electro chemical methods and photo-induced absorption studies. Interacting with TiO2 clusters, D149 dye exhibited that the major spectral changes are due to the presence of oxidized dye molecules (present after electron injection) that induce the local electric field e ect on the adjacent neutral dyes.
