Description : Tulathromycin A is a novel long-acting semi-synthetic tribasic macyocyclic antibiotic of the triamilide group, consisting of a regioisomeric, equilibrated mixture of a 15-membered (90%) and 13-membered (10%) macrocyclic ring and three basic amine groups. It was first approved in the United States of America and the European Union for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni (Haemophilus somnus) and Mycoplasma bovis, and for the control of respiratory disease in cattle at high risk of developing BRD associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni (Haemophilus somnus) and Mycoplasma bovis.
